As global interest peaks in Veganuary – an initiative that has highlighted the benefits of a vegan diet for the last decade, Emirates has noted a surge of 40% in customer demand for plant-based meals. To meet this demand in 2024, Emirates will introduce an array of new vegan dishes onboard and in lounges later this year, adding even more dishes to its ‘vegan vault’ of more than 300 curated plant-based recipes.

Boeing Statement on 737-9 Inspections

Boeing have issued the following statement:
“Safety is our top priority and we deeply regret the impact this event has had on our customers and their passengers. We agree with and fully support the FAA’s decision to require immediate inspections of 737-9 airplanes with the same configuration as the affected airplane. In addition, a Boeing technical team is supporting the NTSB’s investigation into the recent event. We will remain in close contact with our regulator and customers.”
